WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR ONLINE HIGH SCHOOL COURSE:
When you enroll in a high school credit course with Grade Learning Online, you must complete 110 hours of coursework, however you are free to do that at a pace that works for you! You have up to one year to complete your course. You decide when you do course work. You decide when you write tests and submit assignments, and you decide when you are ready to write the final exam.
To get you started, your teacher will contact you and let you know when the office hours are. Your teacher will also explain how the online high school course and system work and where you should get started. They'll also ask you about your goals for completing the course and help you to set a plan to achieve your goals.
During office hours each week, your teacher will meet with you via Skype and teach new concepts and review any concepts that you are having difficulty with. Your marks will be updated online in your student record as they are marked, so you know where you stand at all times. Teachers are available by email and typically check email 2 times per day, Monday to Friday. Your teacher will let you know their schedule so that you can reach them easily and quickly when you need to.
When you complete all of your course work, you submit an exam request and we will set you up with an exam date and time that works for you - either at the Grade Learning nearest to you or with a proctor. It's that easy!
